What's the Difference Between Droid & Android?
DROID is a smartphone by Motorola. Android is the operating system by Google that runs the phone.
Check out the Google Android site to see the thousands of mobile applications available. Navigation maps are available to help you find your way, street view, traffic view and even biking directions. Google latitude lets you see where your friends are on a map. Google shopper lets you find products and compare prices. You can just point your phone at the bar code or cover art if you are in a store, otherwise, just tell the phone what you are searching for.
The MyTracks app uses GPS to track your route, speed, time and elevation while you run, walk, or cycle.
Droid comes with a QWERTY Keyboard, full html browser, long battery life, a camera with flash, and an mp3 music player.
